You are what u eat? No–who u hang out with!

Psalm 122:1 “I rejoiced with those who said to me, ‘Let us go to the house of the Lord.'” Who do you enjoy being with?  Those who live by the rule–eat, drink and be merry for tomorrow you die.  Or do you enjoy those who say and live by— eat, drink and be merry giving all praise to God for tomorrow we will live for eternity in heaven.  What a huge difference.  One prepares while one despairs.

A promise kept

Psalm 121:8 “the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.” God has never abandoned you or me and He never will.  You and I have weakness but our God does not.  The security He provides gives us a comfort we have never and will never experience anywhere else.  How great it is to be loved by our Heavenly Father!

Constant Guardian

Psalm 121:3 “He will not let your foot slip–he who watches over you will not slumber.” It is impossible to have a more loving God.  Can I repeat?  It is impossible to have a more loving Heavenly Father.  How about–It is impossible to have a more loving Savior.  Once again–It is impossible to have a more loving Holy Spirit.  It is impossible to have a more loving God.  Can we put the truth statement into our heart, mind and spirit—It is impossible to have a more loving God!!!

A statement of faith

Psalm 121:2 “My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.” If Darwinian faith is true the Christian faith is false.  If the Christian faith is true, Darwin’s theories are false.  At first these statements might seem unimportant but as we look at just this passage we find an extreme importance in these statements.  Our Creator is also our Comforter.  Without Him we have nothing.  With Him we have everything.  Which should we choose–Darwin or our Creator?  The answer is obvious.

Lost then found

Psalm 119:176 “I have strayed like a lost sheep.  Seek your servant, for I have not forgotten your commands.” The last verse of Psalm 119 defines us all.  Never do any of us want to be deserted by our Savior.  When we stray from Him, and we all do,  we want our God to always find us and return us to Himself.  We can never thank our Savior enough for His redemptive work.  We close this chapter with a sincere THANK YOU!!
