Be sure to understand

Galatians 4:7 “So you are no longer a slave, but a son; and since you are a son, God has made you also an heir.” God repeatedly assures you and me that we are His adopted children.  God knows the mind of man is forgetful, has a tendency to doubt, has weaknesses and needs constant encouragement and reassurances.  This passage is another which strengthens our faith and adds to every Christian’s firm foundation—you and I are heirs of the greatest fortune imaginable. Have a great weekend.

An heir inherits

Galatians 3:29 “If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed and heirs according to the promise.” You are going to inherit the most valuable treasure known to man.  That is a promise from God Himself.  That promise, that reality, is the bedrock of your life guaranteeing a future of joy so profound there is nothing on this earth that can take that joy from any of us.  Live in peace—our inheritance is coming.

Christian=Sons

Galatians 3:26 “You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus.” Every Christian is blessed to be a son of God.  That makes you an heir of earthly blessing and an inheritor of eternal life.  To contemplate this truth overwhelming to all of us.  Be faith filled and worry free.  You are a child of The Almighty God.

3 great words

Galatians 3:14 “He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Jesus Christ, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.” He redeemed us—-3 great words guaranteeing a joyous earthly life and Heavenly wonder for all of us.  3 words which are beyond our comprehension, understanding or realization as to their eternal wonder.  Every year we dedicate about a month in celebration of the Christmas message.  We buy stuff, we make stuff, we gather, we eat, we drink, we sing, we celebrate in thankfulness to our phenomenal God—He redeemed us!!

Blessed with Abraham

Galatians 3:9 “So those who have faith are blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith.” Abraham’s wealth is well known.  He was one of, if not, the wealthiest man in the world when he lived.  God blessed him, not because he was an exceptional man of earthly knowledge, but rather because he was an exceptional man of faith.  Throughout the Bible Abraham is praised because of his solid faith.  If you or I are to be praised, would our praise be because of our faith just like Abraham?  Are you being blessed?  Reread the passage and realize why.
