Proverbs 2:8 “for he guards the course of the just and protects the way of his faithful ones.” If lucky was a positive Christian term–you and I couldn’t be more lucky. Would it be more proper to say–blessed, loved, favored, guarded–you can come up with any term which describes the thought of our Heavenly Father hugging you in His protective way every second of our lives. How wonderful is it to have a faith filled cherished relationship with our Father!

Proverbs 2:6 “For the Lord gives wisdom, and from His mouth come knowledge and understanding.” From prayer and study of God’s Word comes wisdom. Osmosis will not work. Gaining wisdom, knowledge and understanding is the desire of every Christian. Therefore, there is only one conclusion we can reach–pray and study. Have a great weekend.

Proverbs 2:1-5 “My son, if you accept my words and store up my commands within you, turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding, and if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding, and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God.” accept—store up—turning—applying—call out—cry aloud—look—search—THEN…..WOW—FANTASTIC!!!!

Proverbs 1:33 “but whoever listens to me will live in safety and be at ease, without fear of harm.” Have you ever wondered how often God has carried you in your life? You know He never leaves you, but do you think He just looks from 8 feet away and observes? That distance viewing is impossible. Every faith filled Christian enjoys the pleasure their Savior promises as we walk through this life. There is no covid distancing with our Heavenly Father. He is always touching each of His dear children–and you are one of them.

Proverbs 1:10 “My son, if sinners entice you, do not give in to them.” Every day of our lives we face paths of world thinking and world doing or paths of God thinking and God doing. The f…word and d…word are so common–yet do you join or do you think–wrong-I will not participate. Is your thinking–what is the best for me–or is your thinking–what would God have me think and do? Are you in constant communication with your Heavenly Father or do you pray just as a special need arises? As a child of God and heir to a Heavenly fortune we are always in a mindset of serving, honoring and living lives which represent ourselves as ambassadors of our Savior.
