Proverbs 8:17-18 “I love those who love me, and those who seek me find me. With me are riches and honor, enduring wealth and prosperity.” Pray daily for wisdom. Your and my life will be lived in abundance as we practice a mentality dominated by wisdom. When God infuses any of His children with wisdom and His child lives and thinks accordingly, the result is a peace, contentedness and understanding which cannot be found through the accumulation of any earthly treasure. Wisdom is priceless. Pray for wisdom.

Proverbs 8:13 “To fear the Lord is to hate evil; I hate pride and arrogance, evil behavior and perverse speech.” The concept of living in fear is the exact opposite of what one would be told by a therapist. God says—absolutely live in fear and listen carefully how I define fear. Fear is hating those attributes of self which are damaging to one’s character and which bring a Christian mindset to destruction. Fearing the Lord is the most loving relationship one can have between Father and child. Wrap your arms around Him as He wraps His arms around you. That’s the responsibility of any Father and child–earthly or Heavenly.

Proverbs 8:10-11 “Choose my instruction instead of silver, knowledge rather than choice gold, for wisdom is more precious than rubies and nothing you desire can compare with her.” How concerned are we about our income, maintaining our lifestyle or being/ becoming successful in a career or business ? Is our top priority in life having a close relationship with our Father and gaining wisdom which only He offers? Each of us faces the answers to these questions. Our contentedness, which each of us desires, depends on our answer.

Proverbs 8:1 “Does not wisdom call out? Does not understanding raise her voice? Much of humanity is unnecessarily confused. God, our Almighty God, has had a Book written and has created a world where His truths are displayed and obvious. One has the will or ability to either ignore His truths or grasp them and enjoy the life God has intended for all. God’s absolute truths are in full view and are intended to make mankind both knowledgeable and wise. How are you observing the obvious? Have a great weekend.

Proverbs 7:1 “My son, keep my words and store up my commands within you.” God begins the thoughts which follow with the loving words—My son. All His children He refer to as—My. God uses a possessive pronoun —My— to establish the most loving relationship known. Then He follows with instruction. Some have called the word Bible an acronym for—-Basic Instruction Before Leaving Earth. It does all of us well to love our study of this Instruction Manual.
