Proverbs 15:7 “The lips of the wise spread knowledge, but the hearts of fools are not upright.” Humble confidence should be a character trait of every Christian. That character trait should be evident so others conclude—I want that too and how do I get it? How? Open one’s heart and allow God to enter. Study Scripture and let God’s grace stabilize a person’s live so peace and hope thrive. There is nothing better. There is no greater treasure.

Proverbs 15:6 “The house of the righteous contains great treasure, but the income of the wicked brings ruin.” Is your house 1000 square feet with no garage or 10,000 square feet with a 5 stall heated garage? Neither guarantee contentedness or happiness. How about your investment accounts or lack of them? How about your position on the ladder of “success”? How about your relationship with your Heavenly Father? That absolutely matters! Living and knowing the grace of our Heavenly Father is the greatest treasure possible—if you have it–you couldn’t be more blessed. Enjoy!!

Proverbs 15:4 “The soothing tongue is a tree of life, but a perverse tongue crushes the spirit.” Your or my intent when speaking should never be to crush but to teach. Discipline is essential but humiliating accomplishes nothing positive for a person. Therefore, while truth is essential it must be partnered with an understanding of purpose for the wisdom being expressed.
