Can’t fool God

Acts 1:26a “Then they prayed, ‘Lord, you know everyone’s heart…” You don’t know my heart and I don’t know your heart.  Words and actions can be very deceiving.  BUT with God nothing is hidden.  He knows your heart felt motives.  Your and my heart felt motives are what He sees and what only He can and does judge us by.  If anything you or I do is for show, it is detrimental to a healthy heart.  You and I have to ask the question—how is my heart?  The answer is of ultra importance.

Truth is fulfilled

Acts 1:15a “In those days Peter stood up among the believers (a group numbering about one hundred and twenty) and said, ‘Brothers and sisters, the Scripture had to be fulfilled…” Jesus, our Advocate, was promised and that promise happened.  Judas, as Jesus’ betrayer, was foretold by David and that promise was fulfilled.  Jesus rising from the dead was promised and again, that promise was fulfilled.  Our God will again come to earth and bring all believers to Himself in Heaven.  God’s promises are always fulfilled.  Believe and spread the Word–that is the duty of man/woman.  Have a great weekend.

Important proof

Acts 1:3 “After his suffering, he presented himself to them and gave many convincing proofs that he was alive.  He appeared to them over a period of forty days and spoke about the kingdom of God.” Jesus was born, lived, fulfilled many Old Testament prophecies, suffered, died and (the most earth shattering event of all) rose from the dead.  A person can accept it all, deny it all, accept some and deny some, but the proof is the last part of this verse—for 40 days He established proof.  No human could possibly do what He did.  Nothing is gained by denying.  Everything is gained by  living a believing and faith filled life.  Pray and be sure to make the right choice. | | | | Join our Cloud HD Video Meeting Zoom is the leader in modern enterprise video communications, with an easy, reliable cloud platform for video an… | | | cis

The final conclusion of the matter

Ecclesiastes 12:13 “Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the duty of all mankind.” Every person on earth is included in this one verse.  Every person (whether they realize it or not is immaterial) is to be in awe of God, follow His intended purpose for each of us, live with a recognized fulfillment of that purpose and understand the meaninglessness of making life’s purpose the pursuit of earthly pleasure. NOTHING is more important than following God in all He has us do.

The conclusion of the matter

Ecclesiastes 12:9 “Not only was the Teacher wise, but he also imparted knowledge to the people.  He pondered and searched out and set in order many proverbs.”  Without God there is little, if any, meaning to life.  Is the ultimate purpose of life pleasure and accumulation?  If so, the song of maybe 30 years ago applies—is that all there is?  Life for all of us has its happiness and sadness, yet we all have a God intended purpose/s to fulfill.  Finding that purpose/s and praising our God in the process is the duty of man/woman.
