The world’s thinking

Ecclesiastes 10:19 “A feast is made for laughter, wine makes life merry, and money is the answer for everything.” This passage is exactly the way the world, with its epicurean mentality, thinks.  The problem is: do you and I think the same at times?  Solomon is expressing just the opposite of wise thinking which has existed since the beginning of time.  This passage is also an example where one can take a verse out of context and arrive at a totally incorrect conclusion.  You and I have to study God’s Word in its entirety to come to wise conclusions.  (If you’re interested–google this verse for interesting commentaries).
