Your body is not what most think

I Corinthians 6:19-20 “Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God?  You are not your own;  you were bought at a price.  Therefore honor God with your body.” Two unusual thoughts:  1. Your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit.  2. You are not your own.  1. Since the Holy Spirit LIVES within you, He is active.  He is not a dormant thing, hibernating and waiting for you to wake up.  He is active which makes you active in representing God and being His faithful child.2. You have been purchased.  When anyone purchases an item, that item becomes theirs.  Jesus purchased you with His life, death and resurrection.  You are His.  That is far from being a negative.  Realize, you can live enjoying all the benefits God gives.  Those benefits are beyond our imagination.#s 1 & 2 are fantastic!
