The joy of life

Proverbs 19:23 “The fear of the Lord leads to life: then one rests content, untouched by trouble.” Throughout Proverbs God reminds us of the wonderful peace and contentedness found by placing Him first in our lives.  Doesn’t it only make sense to do exactly that?  We can’t let ourselves be fooled to think the pleasures of this world are what we should strive for.  Pleasures are blessings, but we live for Him!!
