The sad truth

John 1:10 “He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him.” The Creator of this world is not recognized by the majority of the world.  Wouldn’t you think just the opposite?  How can the created not recognize the Creator?  John recorded this astounding truth.  Fortunately you and I have been blessed with recognizing the truth and are obligated to tell others the truth of creation and its Magnificent Creator.

Light is Great

John 1:5 “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” God knows the importance of light.  Without light there is no life.  Can you and I comprehend that?  Without our Savior there is no life.  With our Savior there is life.  That is a simple absolute truth.  How blessed you and I are that we live in light and have a close wonderful relationship with the Light of the world. Have a great weekend.

Life at its best

John 1:4 “In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind” If we are reading our Bibles and trying to read a chapter a day we can easily miss the tremendous impact of this small sentence.  Even as we study and read now—how can we understand its impact?  Jesus is life.  Jesus is the light of all mankind.  We are all so self centered we can easily forget we are much much better off being Jesus centered.  Thank God for light–What a fabulous blessing!!

An awsome God

John 1:3 “Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.” Everything in this world; the universe with its magnificience, the flowers and all plant life with its magnificience, animals on the earth and creatures in the sea with their magnificience and humans with all our intricacies have all been created by the one who loves you and me so much that He humbled Himself, became one of us, cares for each of us and will bring us to Himself in heaven.  What an indescribable Savior.

At the beginning

John 1:1 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” Jesus, the Word, is God.  The Apostle, the Disciple, John, loved Jesus and recognized Jesus’ authority.  The book he wrote is going to express the beauty of John’s and your and my Savior.  He also will express the absolute necessity of recognizing Jesus’ role in our temporal and eternal life.

Live life accordingly

Romans 16:27 “to the only wise God be glory forever through Jesus Christ! Amen” Life can be confusing, lonely, full of chaos, full of heartache and just generally a downer.  Life can be enjoyable, have a solid foundation, orderly, filled with wisdom, just generally good.  What makes the difference?  A heart filled with this passage makes the difference.  What is your and my attitude and relationship with our Heavenly Father—-that is what makes the difference!! Have a great weekend.
