—– Forwarded Message —– From: Richard Waldschmidt <rlwaldschmidt@yahoo.com>Sent: Thursday, November 2, 2023 at 07:59:10 AM EDTSubject: Not of this world John 17:16 “I have given them your word and the world has hated them, for they are not of the world any more than I am of the world.” Jesus’ prayer to His Father is certainly heartfelt and full of truth.  Every Christian, though living in the world, does not live for personal glory or self-satisfaction.  Every Christian lives with the continual thought–Father, let me live the purposeful life You want me to live.  Since this thought is totally foreign to unbelievers, Christians will not only be questioned for their thinking—-they will be hated for their thinking.  Why should that be in our–think however you want society?  Why—the devil is real and he has control and his control involves hate for God.  As a Christian–expect 2 things.  One to be loved by God.  Two expect to be hated by everyone and everything else.
