Please God-not man

Galatians 1:10 “Am I now trying to win the approval of men or of God?  Or am I trying to please man?  If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a servant of Christ.” All of us tend to want approval.  We like to be liked.  Some of us are more people pleasers than others, but we all like to be a part of a group, large or small and receive the approval of that group.  The preceding is not God’s way of thinking.  God has very simple advise—follow me.  That’s it.  Simple.  The approval of an individual, group or a large crowd is irrelevant.  Earthly approval is most often very temporary—-don’t be fooled by it.  God’s approval is eternal—be consumed by it.
