Saved by grace alone

Romans 10:5-6 “So too, at the present time there is a remnant chosen by grace.  And if by grace, then it is no longer by works; if it were, grace would no longer be grace.” Being a loving Christian is a natural character trait of faith.  That character trait accomplishes nothing for your or my salvation.  Jesus accomplished it ALL.  Good works are simply a thank you to our God for the blessings He pours on you and me.  Good works never have and never will gain eternity.  The grace of God through the life, death and resurrection of our Savior is responsible for our salvation.  If that was not true “grace would no longer be grace”.
