John 3:36 “Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them.” Jesus wants everyone to spend eternity with him. He came to this world for only one purpose. The most unfortunate realization is many do not want to know Jesus and are therefore lost in their own world of darkness and will only come to realize what they have done when it is too late. Jesus is the Light. Let us all realize that wonderful news and live in Light.

John 3:21 “But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.” Everything you and I do is seen by The Light of the world. Nothing is done anywhere which is unknown to God. Our thoughts, words and actions are all known to Him. Do we therefore live in fear becuse of our imperfections? No, we live rejoicing because we are perfect living with our Savior of Light. Rejoice as a child of Light!

John 3:19 “This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.” Does anyone love darkness? Abolutely! Whenever one does what they know to be immoral or harmful or anything wrong and do not want to be caught, darkness is desired. Darkness in life is NEVER good. You and I have the blessed privilege of living in Light. Let each of us enjoy living in our Savior’s Light!

John 3:18 “Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.” The difference in believing that Jesus is the Son of God and not believing that Jesus is the Son of God could not be greater. The general opinion of our present culture is foolishness. The thought is: it doesn’t matter what one believes–all are ok, maybe Jesus matters and maybe He doesn’t. That thinking, though held by many, is absolutely false. Jesus is our Hope. Jesus is our Savior. Jesus is our Strength. Jesus is God’s one and only Son, the Savior of the world. A very serious truth.

John 3:17 “For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.” The sole purpose of Jesus coming to this earth was to benefit you. He knew His Heavenly Father demanded perfection and He wanted you to come before His Father in a suit of perfection. None of us could represent ourselves. We needed an advocate. God, Jesus, is our advocate. It is impossible to be more blessed. A forgiven, blessed, adopted child of God. That is what you are. Enjoy your great life! Have a great weekend.

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” This passage is the basis of Christianity. It is written for all the world to read yet much of the world ignores its life saving truth. You and I have heard many times—life is short, eternity is long. Why would anyone ignore the future for the short pleasures of the present? Believe. Teach this wonderful truth to your children and grandchildren.

John 2:25 “He did not need any testimony about mankind, for he knew what was in each person.” Jesus knows each of us. He knows our thoughts. He knows our actions. He knows our hearts. You and I at times make Him very happy. You and I at times make Him very sad. Jesus needs no help in knowing exactly who we are. We need our Savior’s help to be the adopted child He wants each of us to be. We each pray that in all our activities we are that child.

John 2:23b “…Then they believed the scripture and the words that Jesus had spoken.” The disciples lived with their Savior. They heard Jesus’ words and saw His miracles. Yet one of them, even though he walked with God never understood God. The other 11 disciples did not understand all that Jesus was saying. You and I have to be in a constant state of studying God’s Word to continually learn and understand the wisdom God would have us know. Then we pray we live what we learn.

When you excitedly realize who your Savior is; when you begin to understand you are an adopted, loved child of God, your life is filled with an inner excitement which gives you an amazing feeling of joy. John `1:29 “The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said,’Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world!”‘ Innocence saves the guilty because of His great love for the guilty. This is the most unnatural relationship in existence. What a humbling thought. And it happened! Jesus has saved you and me from a purposeless life on earth and has prepared a glorious life for us for all eternity. How can you and I be anything other than humbly appreciative.

John 1:27 “He is the one who comes after me, the straps of whose sandals I am not worthy to untie.” John recognized his Savior. John is a phenomenal example for you and me in our recognition of our complete unworthiness yet our recognition of the complete love shown to each of us as being an adopted loved child of God. We properly hang our heads low in recognition of the might of our God while at the same time proudly have our heads held high having inherited all the treasures given by our loving Father.

John 1:22a “Finally they said,’Who are you?'” John the Baptist was asked this question because people were confused. Do you confuse people as to who you are? Is there ever a question as to your relationship with your Heavenly Father? Do you live a life which tells the world that you are an adopted, loved child of God? Or do people wonder? Live so noone wonders!
