How is this possible?

Psalm 51:6 “Yet you desired faithfulness even in the womb; you taught me wisdom in that secret place.” God demands our faithfulness even in the womb?  I cannot explain that!  I can explain though, from conception and on, God has a deep concern for you and me and all His children.  He wants our love and we need His.  What an absolutely unique God we cherish.

Truth exposed

Psalm 51:5 “Surely I was sinful at birth; sinful from the time my mother conceived me.” From the moment of conception, the beginning of life, there is need for a Savior.  That is not my conclusion.  That is God’s clear truth as the words of this passage acknowledge.  Not only is there a need for a Savior, there is the recognition that life begins at conception.  It does not matter what some say in regard to a woman’s rights; it rather matters what God has to say about the beginning of life.  We again have to praise God for His infinite wisdom and our responsibility to learn from that wisdom.

Compassion=key word

Psalm 51:1b “…according to your great compassion blot out my transgressions.” Ultimate empathy is owned by our compassionate God.  His example is an excellent lesson for each of us.  His example tells each of us to have a heartfelt caring attitude for each other.  His attitude makes each of us perfect before His eyes.  He has created perfection.  We pray this verse–God answers–we’re saved and inherit eternal life.  You will not hear better news today or any day!

Daily prayer

Psalm 51:1a “Have mercy on me, O God, according to your unfailing love…” Fortunately God’s mercy, grace and love is not dependent on your or my perfection.  His mercy, grace and love is totally dependent on our God’s caring nature for each of us.  Though we fail Him often, He never fails us.  There is no other relationship we can compare to the relationship each of us has with our Savior.  And another beautiful truth—they are new every day.  There is nothing more loving!

Pray–God is listening and answering

Psalm 50:15 “and call on me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honor me.” God invites each one of us to talk to Him.  We use the word prayer.  His invitation comes with a promise and with a resulting behavior on our part.  God always listens.  When we get to heaven we will be able to discuss with Him a rerun as to why He answered our prayers as He did.  As all of us face earthly challenges, we need a sure defense and God is that loving defense.  Be completely confident—He is your and my Ultra Strong Defense.  We thank Him. Have a great weekend.
