Psalm 119:50 “My comfort in my suffering is this: your promise preserves my life.” Because of sin both you and I suffer the consequences. Life on earth is filled with struggles. Because of the life, death and resurrection of our Savior you and I live in peace at the same time we struggle. To enjoy being loved by our Almighty God is the pheromonal blessing we can all enjoy. Trust and be faithful to our loving Heavenly Father.

Psalm 119:49 “Remember your word to your servant, for you have given me hope.” When God makes a promise the security of that promise could not be more definite. A word often used is hope. Not hope like in one is not sure but rather in one is absolutely sure. God’s promises are definite or absolute. When He promises forgiveness you absolutely have forgiveness. When God promises comfort and eternal life we have comfort and eternal life. The hope only He can provide is absolutely absolute. Enjoy that security.

Psalm 119:45 “I will walk about in freedom, for I have sought out your precepts.” To obey God and follow His Word requires a heart which loves His authority and for one to look forward to being subject to that authority. With that mindset one has the enjoyable privilege of living life with the freedom of a clear conscience and living life with one’s Savior constantly at his/her side. What could be better? Psalm 119:43 “Never take your word of truth from my mouth, for I have put my hope in your laws.” You and I always want to remain faithful to our God. We always want to share the hope only He provides both on this earth and eternally. The hope or confidence only He can provide is essential to our security and happiness while we experience life. We praise and thank Him for having chosen each of us to be His adopted children.

Psalm 119:41 “May your unfailing love come to me, Lord, your salvation, according to your promise;” God’s love for you and me is beyond our comprehension. His desire for His children (you and me) to be with Himself is also the best news we will ever hear. The fact that our eternal life with Him is guaranteed is unfathomable. How could any of us not want to honor and be faithful to our Almighty God.
