Subject of a prayer

Colossians 1:3 “We always thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you, because we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love you have for all God’s people” You and I have to ask ourselves — could this verse apply to us?  The people being referred to had to be faith filled.  They gave our God what He wants—their hearts.  We ask ourselves—Are we giving God what He says matters to Him–our hearts?  He has given us His—now you and I give Him ours.
