A prayer

Psalm 40:8 “I desire to do your will, my God; your law is within my heart.” Although every one of us is far from perfect, we yet pray continually that we would live as our Father would have us live.   That prayer is what David, our author, prayed continually.  David knew God.  David had an extremely close relationship with God, yet he knew without God’s help he could not accomplish his Father’s will.  This verse is not only David’s prayer—it is your and my prayer also.
