Live with a calmness

Psalm 23:2 “He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters.” God does not want us to live a life of anxiety on medication.  He wants all of us to thrive on a calmness which comes with total trust in Him.  He is our medication.  He is our calm and our peace.  The world presents turmoil and chaos.  God is the exact opposite.  Pray and thrive in our Savior’s arms.  Live in peace.  David’s words are perfect.

What do you need?

Psalm 23:1 “The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.” You and I are used to living a life of abundance.  Such an abundance that we complain if we don’t have desert for dinner or can’t go on a trip we planned or get a new outfit for the fall.  We all have to stop and recognize we have our Savior–there is nothing else we truly need–yet God continues to bless us abundantly.  How amazingly blessed we are.

A prayer

Psalm 22;19 “But you, Lord, do not be far from me.  You are my strength; come quickly to help me.” We all recognize that without God in our lives we are very weak and would fall part.  However, with God in our lives we have hope and strength.  Therefore, we each have a simple choice: Have no God, have no strength; Have God, Have strength.  We pray the same prayer our ancestor David confidently prayed. Pray for God’s strength for Charlie Kirk’s family. Have a great weekend.
