Psalm 33:4 “For the word of the Lord is right and true; he is faithful in all he does.” It is obvious that David loved God and had a relationship with Him which was tight. David trusted God with all his heart. He must have written the Psalms because he wanted you and me to feel the same and to enjoy the life one can live only with that tight and loving relationship.

Psalm 32:10 “Many are the woes of the wicked, but the Lord’s unfailing love surrounds the one who trusts in him.” Trusting in God is the easiest thing a person can possibly do yet many fail. Why would a person trust in anyone or anything else when the Creator of the Universe has outstretched arms and offers a comfort and peace found nowhere else? We pray that our human nature never overrides the trust we are guaranteed by our Heavenly Father. Let us live our lives trusting in Him and Him alone.

Do I have a faith filled heart and enjoy serving my Savior? Do I read my Bible and believe what it has to say? Do I recognize I am saved by grace and all my works are as filthy rags in gaining salvation? Am I blessed and a child of God only because of the redemptive sacrifice of my Savior? Your answers answer the question–Are you blessed? Have a great weekend.
