Getting wealthy and plunging

I Timothy 6:9 “Those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction.” Be focused.  Wear blinders.  Let nothing interfere with attaining your goals.  Now–the question is–on what?  Attaining wealth?  Attaining earthly pleasures?  Having your “barns overflowing”?  Developing a firm and growing relationship with your Savior?  Gaining the peace and comfort which is only attained through a strong linkage with our Father?  You choose–stay focused–God bless your choice.

Fw: Contentedness is supreme

Have a great weekend.

Hope

I Timothy 4:10 “That is why we labor and strive, because we have put our hope in the living God, who is the Savior of all people and especially of those who believe.” Every Christian has a confidence that is as strong as strong gets.  Another word for that confidence is hope–an attitude of total reliance on the truths as exposed in Scripture and implanted in our hearts by the Holy Spirit.  As humans, weakness and doubt want to appear; however, as blood bought adopted children of our God confidence and hope reign supreme.

One God and one Savior

I Timothy 2:5-6a “For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all people…” Jesus is our Mediator.  Jesus is our Advocate.  Jesus is our Savior.  Jesus is our Comforter.  Jesus is our Redeemer.  Jesus is our Teacher.  Jesus is our Sacrificial Lamb.  Jesus is our Creator.  Jesus is our Best Friend.  You and I cannot live without our Jesus.

What God wants

I Timothy 1:17 “This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.” Our God wants all people to be living with him, to be faith-filled and to know Jesus is their Savior.  Man has a free will.  Many people choose to believe other than what God desires.  That sad truth produces the world we live in.  Praise God that your will aligns with His will and therefore your life on this earth and future life in Heaven could not be better.
