Psalm 119:5 “Oh, that my ways were steadfast in obeying your decrees!” It often seems our lives are just the opposite of this prayer. We easily recognize we need our Savior at our side constantly as He guides each of us through life. We all need His presence. Therefore, we constantly pray and study His Word. We constantly pray for His guidance, presence and support.

Psalm 119:2 “Blessed are those who keep his statutes and seek him with all their heart–” To be blessed by God is really the desire of everyone even though many do not realize how those blessings could come. God simply says–follow Me with all your heart and I will bless you. Therefore, those who follow the true God with all their heart are blessed. It seems to me that to be faithful to God is the only wise way to live. Have a great weekend.

Psalm 118:22 “The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone;” There will come a time when all–those who have lived in the past, those who are presently living and those who will live in the future will recognize Jesus is the Savior of all of mankind. Unfortunately for many, that realization will be too late. Jesus and the salvation He brings has sadly been rejected. We, as Christians, humbly can only thank our Savior for His great love and redemption.

Psalm 118:17 “I will not die but live, and will proclaim what the Lord has done,” Everyone who lives will also die. Everyone who lives will never die. Which statement is true? They both are. Life on this earth for all of us will end. After end comes beginning. Our home, our eternal home, the home bought by our Savior with more luxury than we can imagine begins. No suffering, no sadness, no disappointments, no Facebook, no TikTok, only pure, honest joy. That life is one we all should look forward to living. Thank you, God.
