Paul’s desire

Romans 1:11 “I long to see you so that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to make you strong—” Paul’s desire showed his love for all who read his letter.  His desire was to make all readers, including you and me, experience a heart joined with God.  He constantly prayed for everyone he came in contact with that they would have a faith which was strong.  Can we learn a lesson from Paul?  Do our prayers include thoughts of a strong faith for all those we come in contact with?  We should for what could be more important?

You are called

Romans 1:6 “And you also are among those who are called to belong to Jesus Christ.” There is often a serious mistake made that pastors and teachers are called but the rest of the congregation is to sit in silence and listen.  Nothing could be further from the truth as Paul in this verse explains.  Every believer has a special calling to live for his Savior and to tell others about Him.  That is every Christian’s responsibility.

Final Psalm=Praise God!

Psalm 150:6 “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.  Praise the Lord. Whether you or I realize it constantly or not, we are tremendously blessed.  Not somewhat blessed but abundantly blessed. God knows you.  He knows your name.  God abundantly blesses you constantly.  God created you to love you.  God holds your hand as you travel this earth and is preparing your fabulous home in Heaven.  God, the only true God, could not care for you more.  You are His child.  How can you and I do anything less than Praise The Lord!!!

Why were you created?

Psalm 149:4 “For the Lord takes delight in his people; he crowns the humble with salvation.” God formed you in your mother’s womb because He wanted to love you!  That is a radical yet true statement.  Every conception is a child for God to love.  Apply those thoughts to yourself and you cannot have anything other than a tight relationship with your Heavenly Father.  His gift of salvation is the best birthday gift you will ever receive.  Thank you God!!
