II Corinthians 5:20a “We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us…” God could represent Himself. God could…the list from a human view is endless. God did create the universe. God did send His Son to this earth. God did promise to never send a flood which would destroy the world population. God will bring all believers to Himself in Heaven. God did make you and me His representatives–ambassadors. God does all things the way He sees fit. He chooses to use you and me in a unique and privileged way. What an honor to serve our Heavenly Father! How blessed we are!

II Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old is gone, the new has come.” When a person realizes he/she is a faithful follower of his/her Savior, he/she has a close relationship with his/her Heavenly Father, he/she is living a life of thankfulness and gratitude to his/her God and the Holy Spirit lives within him/her, he/she is an heir to the greatest treasure possible: an earthly life of contentedness and a heavenly life of phenomenal wonder. Thank you God for LIFE!

II Corinthians 5:15 “And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again.” Every one of us has to ask ourselves a question which determines our life. That question is: who am I living for–myself or my Savior? Our human nature certainly says–myself. Our Holy Spirit nature says–my Savior. Our Savior’s love for us, His life lived for us, His dying for us, His resurrection for us and His preparing a home, a fabulous future home for us (which our loved ones who live with Him now are enjoying) dictates we live for Him. As we daily live life we constantly answer the question–who do we live for–ourselves or our Savior?

II Corinthians 5:7 “We live by faith, not by sight.” The unbelieving world has an extremely difficult time with this verse. The faith filled follower of God has no problem whatsoever with this verse. Jesus lived, died and rose for you and me—that is believed by every faith filled child of God. No he didn’t or prove it—is the reaction of the worldly. Eternity in Heaven for the faith filled is coming. Eternity is coming for the worldly—but where? You and I could not be more blessed than to have confidence in the truth of this passage.
