Psalm 103:12 “as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.” For us to inherit eternal life and have a relationship with our Heavenly Father you and I must be perfect. Our Savior has miraculously accomplished that. His life, death and resurrection has performed this greatest miracle of all time. Does this give us the freedom to live whatever life we choose? Absolutely not! Rather, because of our Savior and His redemptive work, you and I have a strong faith and a deep desire to honor Him through every motion we take and every thought we think. We pray for His constant help. Have a great weekend.

Psalm 103:11 “For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him.” When we think of the magnificence of God and His ability to do whatever he chooses and then realize He chooses to love, not just put up with, not just like, but to love each of us–His children, we have to be both humbled and be as happy as happy gets. What a wonderful, loving God we praise.

Psalm 103:8″The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love.” Every parent can learn how to parent from this passage. Every Christian can learn how to practice their faith from this passage. Every child of God realizes from this passage the blessed life they live because of the absolute truth of this passage. What a wonderful passage!

Psalm 102:12 “But you, Lord, sit enthroned forever; your renown endures through all generations.” God has always been and always will be. Nothing compares. And to think that God loves you and me is both true and far beyond our understanding. How blessed we are. How can we do anything other than honor, love and praise Him as faithful adopted children.

Psalm 102:11 “My days are like the evening shadow; I wither away like grass.” Our human nature hates this passage while our God nature loves this passage. With all the difficulties this short life forces each of us to endure we happily look forward to an eternal time when nothing sad happens and joy is constant. No heath issues, no conflicts, no unnecessary worries, no disappointments–heaven is almost impossible to imagine. Given the truth of this passage, how can we do anything other than desire an extremely close relationship with our Savior?

Psalm 102:2 “Do not hide your face from me when I am in distress. Turn your ear to me; when I call, answer me quickly.” If only you and I could physically see our Heavenly Father and His angels as they live by our side every moment of every day. Our level of confidence would rise where God wants it to be. We, at times, live with anxiety and depression, not because of God, but rather because of ourselves and our lack of trust and confidence caused by our human nature. The sad truth is: none of us are exempt. We all need to constantly pray–God, give me the strength and confidence to totally trust you and never allow fear to be a part of me. Make my trust level always be 1000% as You want it to be. In Jesus’ name we pray. Have a great weekend.

Psalm 101:6 “My eyes will be on the faithful in the land, that they may dwell with me; the one whose walk is blameless will minister to me.” How do you choose whom you will hang out with? Are friends based on social status? Are friends based on income level? Are friends based on drinking buddies? Is there no criteria, or does God in this passage have a wise thought? God is saying–choose as friends those who are faithful to Him. If you and I want to be faithful to God, choose to surround ourselves with those who are faithful to God. A truth is: those whom you choose to surround yourself is a sure indicator of who you are. Be careful.

Psalm 101:1 “I will sing of your love and justice; to you, Lord, I will sing praise.” Our human nature does not allow us to understand the tremendous blessing of love. Of paramount importance is the love our Father has for each of us. If we comprehended that love, our days would be filled with honor and praise and we would not be as self-centered as we all tend to be. David, in this verse, expresses himself as you and I should also. What a wonderful God we are extremely thankful for!

Psalm 100:5 “For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.” No one approaches the consistence of God. He is absolutely perfect in all His decision and in His love. God is extremely difficult for us to understand because we are not like Him at all. We change our minds. We don’t always show love when we should. We need continual support. We are far from perfect. But, we praise Him because His love never fails and endures for each of us forever and His truths have been true, are true and will be true forever. What a phenomenal God we worship.

Psalm 100:3 “Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.” Believe this truth: God is God–everything to follow is based on this truth. He created you and me–therefore, you and I are not an accident or a chance, mistake or fluke of a biological event. He created, formed you and me for a purpose–therefore, neither of us are wondering aimlessly trying to have as much fun as possible before the inevitable (death) happens. All of our years of life belong to our God–our life is His–not ours. What does He want us to do with it? That is the key question to a successful life. If we think we are our own we are losers. When we live as His child, –success, peace and contentedness are ours. Frustration or joy–make the right choice.

Psalm 100:2 “Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs.” Worship with gladness; come with joy. Attitude is everything! Our God far surpasses our understanding. Trusting His instruction is absolutely key to successful living. The world does not apply this thinking, but although you and I live in the world we are not of the world. Apply God thinking as we worship Him daily. There is nothing better. Have a great weekend.

Psalm 100:5 “For the Lord is good and his love endures forever, his faithfulness continues through all generations.” When does our Heavenly Father’s love end? When does our Savior’s faithfulness stop? When will the work of the Holy Spirit come to an end? The answer to all three questions is the same. You and I rest in peace because we know the answer. To know the answer is a wonderful blessing and it is our responsibility to live the answer and to tell the answer to others, especially to others who don’t know or live enjoying the answer. When? Never! Enjoy!
